A first camp for a child. A year of training for a young person.

R1,400 pays for one child’s two nights at Bokbaai. R145,000 carries one young person through a year-long learnership, from accredited training to a workplace.

What your gift does

Every amount is what the thing actually costs us

Give one of them, or any figure you choose.

Our current campaign counts donors, not rands. Two hundred people, whatever each can give. If the amounts above are more than you can do right now, this is the one to join.

Carries one young person through a full year-long learnership: the accredited qualification, workplace experience on a working conservation site, mentorship, job-readiness training and a monthly stipend so they can afford to be there.

A qualification changes what a person knows. A permanent job changes what a household earns. Cohorts of ten can be placed in a named community with a named delivery partner, over one year or three.

For companies and larger gifts
Skills development spend
A learnership for an unemployed young person sits in the skills development element of your B-BBEE scorecard, which carries substantial weight and which companies are penalised for underspending. Section 12H learnership allowances and Section 18A deductions apply on top.
Section 18A certificates
Nature Connect is a registered public benefit organisation (PBO 930023924, NPO 013-964) and issues Section 18A tax certificates for qualifying donations, deductible against taxable income within the limits SARS allows.
Beneficiaries
Our learners and school groups are predominantly black South Africans as defined in the B-BBEE Act, including African and Coloured participants, and eighty-nine percent of our school groups come from under-resourced communities.
Reporting
Multi-year and named gifts come with proper reporting: what your money did, who it reached, what changed.

To discuss a cohort, a bequest or a multi-year commitment, contact donations@natureconnect.earth or call 021 100 5613.

Direct transfer

Give by EFT

Many donors prefer an EFT, and it costs us nothing in transaction fees, so more of your gift reaches the work.

Email your proof of payment and postal address to donations@natureconnect.earth and we will issue your Section 18A certificate.
