What the work actually involves
We are a small organisation working at metro scale, so almost every role here is broader than its job title. Just over forty people cover camps, schools, accredited training, conservation sites and the office.
Who it suits
People who are practical and comfortable being useful before being expert.
Pay
Pay is nonprofit pay, set by what donors fund. We say so now, before any interview.

The usual way in
Twenty-five years of this has taught us that the most reliable way in is rarely a job advert. Several of the people on our team started here as learners, interns or volunteers, so if you are early in your career, start there.
No open positions
There are no open positions at the moment. Posts here open irregularly, so the people who get them are usually already known to us.
Start as a volunteer
The most common route into a job here. Give time on a site, a camp or a clean-up, and get to know the work from the inside before a post opens.
